Greener Then 02:47
greener then, when love did chase us far and wide deep inside, blue foliage we used to hide and were denied being greener then hope, though real, wasn't what we were supposed to feel and can you steal, pink fingers clutching tight the wheel to conceal being greener then greener then, when love did chase us far and wide deep inside, blue foliage we used to hide and were denied being greener then

Dark 03:08
dark was the night that i first laid eyes on she the diamond was cracked in the blackness of the heat. retreating to the stairs for the full moon reckoning the people without cares stay behind us as we disappear to the dark disappear to the dark. now the party was grand but no one really knew when the attack would be launched and by who. the lanterns grew dim and the distant lights grew near. we walked hand in hand from the party to disappear to the dark disappear to the dark. woke up alone to explosions on the bay. the loneliest glow was the dawn of newborn day. the explosions were nothing but a dogs distant bark and so I lay awake alone and in the dark.

It's Yours 03:29
how can time heal, the wounds I gave you were real as they were wrong so i try my best to deal, with our broken love in song and i know that it ain’t much, for me to sing these hollow words and that you might prefer a touch, or some material gesture. well I know that it aint much, to you, but it’s yours. what is the cure, for being insecure about so much that it causes you to hurt, the one you want to touch and I know that it aint much, for me to lay it one the line when you been giving yourself up to me all the time well i know that it much, to you, but its yours to command, in the palm of your hand yours to enjoy or destroy it cant be pawned off or sold like silver or gold tarnished rings, long lost things you never forget until they’re gone. because its yours because its yours its yours.

Beacon 04:33
she's my beacon when Im lost out in the storm there’s no speaking distant lights they guide me home though I haven’t been a good man in awhile i get by on just a wink and a smile with my beacon i was drifting too far from the shore endless sifting through that mental corridor when the bright lights of the city take their toll and the fever brings the dark night of the soul she’s my beacon when there’s no one beside you to slip in cracks is just given as the way it goes but if your beacon guides you through those dark times you can be sure to pull through look out for her looking out for you thats your beacon the compass that reigns you in when you’re out there twisting in the wind endless voices echo in a storm bathed in neon beg you to conform til you’re drowning in a tide of din disconnected from whatever was within just a soldier marching to the beat without reason to look up from your two feet when you cannot hear the voice that you speak from follow the lights of your beacon home find your beacon.

Big Cliche 02:42
too timid to even cross, that old crooked sidewalk the traffic light don’t do what it says and even old childhood friends who cross the line of the dead they tell me not to think that everything is a big cliche, cliche, cliche, cliche. spying on the nouveau rich, whose mansion lies in a ditch i wonder who we’re really fighting for and are some peoples lives just means to prop up another’s dreams wishing I could laugh off all of the weight of this thing called war. when we were young we were naive to think back then we did believe war would never knock upon our door. and now here we sit and mourn future babies still unborn born into a world where singing against war is a big cliche.
